Dear Fitness friends: The class was: “Intuitive Eating and most persons ask - What is that? It is a teleclass and a workshop, in which you learn a new way to look at food, and improve your relationship with food. It is a non-restrictive and intelligent approach to weight management. Recently, I contacted some of the students to see how they were doing, and was blown away by one student’s response. Please read below for yourself: “I can get into a pair of jeans that was just too tight now. I have the next pair getting ready. I need to get new clothes for the fall and winter because I am the smallest I’ve been in 11 years. I feel very good about that and I know how to keep it going. Your class made it possible for me to make the insulin pump program work. It has been overwhelming at times but would be impossible without the class. I am still in the first 8 weeks with the pump so still learning new things and working things out. Will let you know when I think that is over and keep you posted on my weight and A1C. The goal for A1C is 7.0 or below. Mine was a low as 6.2 a long time ago but I see that as a goal that I know I can reach now.” -Helen H.
